<p>Well I thought Rattue would write an article about Tietjens, but I see he's decided it's all over for SBW (didn't bother reading the article).  Of course, at various times he thought it was all over for McCaw and Carter.</p>

<p>NZ team looks pedestrian.  Almost like no-one gives a f*ck.</p>

<p>A whole re-think needed, but I can't see how Tietjens can continue - NZ look bereft of ideas.</p>

The 7s is so random though. A few ref decisions and a couple of missed tackles and we could win gold, despite looking like the ~9th best team there.

The fighting after the game was lost was fucking pathetic.<br><br>
Fiji were very good, so patient and great at recycling. Hope they win.

<p>I don't think I've seen any NZ sevens side look so completely lacking in attacking players and/or pace.  There wasn't really anyone you expected to break the line or dash away for a long range try.  They basically looked like the Crusaders backlines of recent years minus Nadolo.</p>

<p>I didn't rate their chances much beforehand but 1 from 4 is a shock.</p>
