There is a US version that you probably wont like as you saw the Danish version first - but it's also quite good. It's set on the Texas-Mexico border.

You forgot to add the most important aspect, it has Diane Kruger in it.
-
Ronin mentioned Killjoys which I have been surprised hasn't been mentioned earlier. Lead character is very easy on the eye. Just a bounty hunter series in a space setting but a watchable time filler.
Pity it was done by SyFy and not Cinemax though. SciFi action shows are long overdue for tits and ass. -

IT has been mentioned before (Originally by Rusty IIRC) and I even posted a pic of the leading lady to ensure people knew what they were missing...I just started S2.

Walking Dead was pretty good! Knew that kid was gonna cop it, but his mum too....bazooka scene was funny

Started Killjoys, bit of brain out of gear tv watching about 3 inter-galactic bounty hunters, lead female is tidy too.

Vikings starts up again this week.

Just started on The Night Of, has John Turturro who I think is great and starts a bit slow, but really pulls you in, worth a watch.

Outcast - don't bother with the trailer, not helpful at all. Have watched 1 episode so far and seems worth continuing with, was again quite gripping.

Vice Principals - Danny McBride is back! Haven't finished the first episode yet but looks good, while not quite Eastbound and Down...yet. Edit: This also has Walton Goggins in it.

Marcella - this was great, from the guy who did The Bridge. On that note - The Bridge was adapted as The Tunnel in the UK - definitely worth a watch on that one too.

Another good one recently was American Odyssey but that ended a bit shit as it was cancelled after 1 season...

Spotless - another UK one, really good.

Between - don't bother. Got about 3 episodes in and it was just getting shitter. Maybe one for the teens.

Sense 8.....didn't really grab us.
-

I'm about 7 or 8 into Outcast, and agree, the trailer doesnt really point to what it is about, which at this point, I am still not 100% sure, but isnt really what that leads you to believe....

Last Chance U

Its a netflix special about a community college in Mississippi where the coach recruits a lot of "problem players" to win championships and get the players D1 scholarships. Great watch for an insight into the real business of football in America.

The most interesting thing to me is no matter how they try to dress it as about team or community everyone is in it for them self and none of that other stuff does a very good job of hiding that.
-

Good binge watch. I enjoyed it.

I pretty much only get to see Netflix, so I'm a bit limited for choice, but just finished River, which was pretty good. Billions seems OK so far too. Started Rebellion, which has been ok and the wife seems to enjoy it too.

I'm a bit fucked waiting for new season of Peaky Blinders and Last Kingdom to come in. I'm also waiting for new Americans. -
The Night Of....intriguing!

Just finished it. What a weird world US sport is. I had never heard of it being disrespectful to "Run up the score" I would think it would be disrespectful in rugby to just stop trying once you had the other team beat, besides points difference is always important in rugby.

They implied it was important in their league as well but still shouldn't be done. Which is a bit confusing. To be honest the guidance counsellor lady kind of stole the show. As the most genuine person there.
-

Wasn't the last one also a prequel? It struggled through a few seasons and then got canned? Ahev they not learnt form that? Muppets.
-

Anyone watching the 2nd series of Mr Robot? I'm not enjoying it as much as the first, too much mucking around with Elliot battling himself rather then hacking the fuck out of bad guys so far.

I haven't started it yet as my friend has been watching and he said he isn't enjoying it anywhere near as much.

Started the latest series of Orphan Black too...first ep confused the hell out of me with a flashback that I didn't realize was a flash back until the 2nd ep. Seems to have taken a bit of a leap to a new story arc.
-
Just started watching 'Stranger things' on a recommendation from my brother. Netflix series set in the 80's in a small town in the states. Kid goes missing and the show seems mostly about his group of friends. Has a bit of a horror/sci-fi element to it, got a real Stephen Spielberg ET feel to it. Very good so far.
