    Yep.

Edit: even if one doesn't like the original episode/premise... it constantly changes. Eventually it will become something one likes. And hopefully dispel the bullshit about "what one likes" along the way.

    @canefan Grrrr.

Fingers crossed it's closer in quality to BoB than The Pacific.

One more reason to fork out

That looks like it's going to be some cringeworthy seppo jingoistic crap... but 'splosions, so I'll pick it up when it floats down the raging river.
    Fuck paying for it though.

Looked a bit cringeworthy to me too. On a side note rewatching Band of Brothers at the moment. It has stood up well.

    Yeah, nah

Caught up on a couple of Apple TV series

Slow Horses - English crime thriller/drama about the MI5 reject office who do the shit jobs MI5 don't want to do. I'm a bit late to this, but binge watched two series straight and ready for the third. A different take on the spy genre .. 4 cicadas out of 5 vodkas

Invasion - I like a good brain dead sci fi alien movie/series, first season was a bit slow and struggled to get to the point but had a couple of cool scenes. The second season showed more direction and action. Was better than I was expecting, probably only needs one more season to wrap it all up. 3 hive minds out of 5 motherships

Next up ....Monarch: Legacy of Monsters ..enjoying not having to think

I am revisiting and think you can throw away the first 5 episodes.. starting to get more of a drama with things happening from there on, enjoying it now.

give it a go, definitely an improvement on the first, makes it look like they tried to set the scene in season 1 without getting anywhere. Definite improvement in season 2..is it a great series, no, but definitely an improvement and easier to watch and get invested in

    Jack Ryan Season 4

    • Look - I know some of you fluffybunnies warned me off it - So yeah... I went into it knowing it would be shit
    • But - pretty sure you mentioned it being intolerable shit within the first couple of episodes
    • I coped with the first couple of episodes - sure, shit, but... tolerable shit

But. Today. Let's set the scene. I've been drinking beers in the sun. I would back myself against any fluffybunny when it comes to drinking beers... I'd have a go against Andre the Giant - I'd lose, but I'd back myself to have a decent go. But... when vitamin-D gets involved - I am super fucked, super quickly.
By about 7pm - I could legitimately be certified "retard". I then watch the final couple of episodes of Jack Ryan Season 4.
Fuck me.... that was an unrelenting assault on my intelligence. I was as dumb as a fucking post beforehand, and I was offended. What a fluffybunny of a thing. Just...
I paused several times to ponder whether I was just too drunk/dumb to understand what was going on... but - no... just... nonsensical
I would place a LOT of money on "Hollywood" experimenting with AI during the writers strike being involved in this bollocks.
What an insulting bunch of fluffybunny fluffybunny.

    Finished Bodies

It will all make sense, don’t worry.

Pretty cleverly done and interesting how they merge all the timelines together provided you leave your brain at the door and realise how utterly impossibly Time travel actually is ( stink, there’s a few things I’d do differently if it wasn’t )

It’s pretty silly how he ends up being his own great great grandfather too

I stuck with this and on the whole it was worth it, but like you, I felt the twist was just too impossible and I felt a little dissatisfied by the ending.

Could have been done in 3-4 episodes

Had its moments but ultimately average

I felt they rushed towards the end and didn't give it the time to develop as a genuine solution, as they did to the problem. It just seemed rushed at the end and a little simplistic.

Jim from The Office as an "action hero".
    That was the first mistake.

    Gen V

A bit more teeny than The Boys but still interesting stuff for the super hero/abberant crossover fans. Some funny shit but fairly well constructed overall in terms of drama and violence.

Notable for its lack of female nudity through the first three episodes. Full frontal male nudity apparently not an issue.

    Must be run by femmenazis

You could have just left it at that.
