<p>Spoke to my namesake at his grandmother's farm just outside Denerau just before the game started (he has taken the day off school!!!!!!!!!!). To say he was excited would be an understatement. You can just imagine how excited a rugby loving nine year old boy in Fiji will be now.</p> -

It seemed to be largely English players. I see there's a couple of Welsh/Scottish in the squad though. Doesn't matter, they've still being trounced. <br><br>
Congrats Fiji, they win their first Olympic medal and its gold. -

<p>That is absolutely awesome. I could not be happier that Fiji, the kings of 7s, have taken out the first ever gold medal for 7s. It was meant to be :)</p>

Over the moon for the Fijians. Fantastic effort. They have the size, speed and keep the ball alive. <br><br>
That basketball game between OZ and Japan was awesome. Japanese one of the best drilled sides with two players that have individual brilliance really took it to the Aussies. Liz Cambage was impossible to stop in the 4th qtr. Single handedly took over the game in the crunch. -
<p>I see Fox(-1) and Lee(+1) are respectively 7 and 9 shots off the lead in the golf...</p>

<p>bula Fiji. I went to the supermarket this morning. The woman at checkout did the hows yr day so far and before I could even grunt she said "I woke up to the news Fiji are in the 7's Final!!!! I'm so excited I can hardly breathe" :good:</p> -
