      Chargers embarrassed yesterday.

Today their head coach and GM are fired.

It starts with their ownership being cheap. They never should have left San Diego - they are an afterthought in a crowded LA sports market.

Easier to fire the coach and GM than fire the owner. Justin Herbert is wasted on that team and should escape as soon as he can

I'm surprised they fired the GM.
Chargers roster isn't too bad. A lot of star power there. Just always injured.

Also, rumours swirling that Belichick is gonna be fired from the Patriots.
Can't see him getting fired with Drake (or Caleb if he's not 1st) as their pick next year.

@mimic Patriots might be eyeing up an offensive head coach - Patriots offense has been abysmal the past few years - ultimately that's on Bill.

4 TD throws for Purdy today puts him back in the lead in the MVP race as Dak struggles against the Bills.

Lock and the Hawks might be about to do the 49ers a big favour. An amazing length of field drive results in a go ahead TD, Seahawks lead by 3 with 28 seconds to play

9ers fans rejoice. Seattle just handed the 49ers some breathing room, SF can now afford to lose one game even if Philly win out from here

holy crap the INT at the end was ridiculous body control. Toe tap for Julian Love would have been epic for a WR, let alone a defensive player.

                        Fun game!

Brock Purdy is like that. Watch him closely and it's amazing his touch when dropping passes to his receivers. I realise Murray had to battle the suffocating 9ers D, but his touch wasnt nearly as good

That one he threw into the front corner of the end zone was beautiful. Absolutely unreachable for anyone else but his receiver, such a tight window

Awesome thing is, SEA have allowed us to play without the risk of losing our NFC lead

Very impressive win by Ravens over Niners. They had the game plan and the personnel to shut down the 49ers offense.

Not a fatal loss for the 49ers but big questions remain about their ability to stage second half/4th quarter comebacks. The stats suggest it doesn't happen.

Ravens meanwhile look well placed but up to now under Lamar haven't transferred their regular season success to playoff success and the AFC looks tougher than the NFC.

Russell Wilson benched by the Broncos but that looks to be a financial decision to ensure Wilson passes a physical in March otherwise it triggers an enormous payout of near $40 mil.

Much like Carr last year the Broncos basically raising a massive 'we give up' banner over Wilson. Tanks his trade value, wouldn't be at all surprised if he's cut. That'll be a 85m dead money hit though (which they'll have to post June 1 to spread into 2025). His 2025 salary (37m) will become fully guaranteed around about 18 March 2024 so that's deadline day for a decision.
