I see, I recall them saying prior to the 3rd last series, they said without damaging the integrity of the show they had to finish it...and 3 series of 16 episodes...still stretching it out further.

What has happened to Heroes? Think it was S3 that finished here a year or more ago, yet I've not seen any ad's for the new one (not that it is a biggie as that seemed to be going downhill)
Apparently popularity has dropped right off and its up for cancellation.

I like Chuck. Most others don't and I accept that, but I like it. That out the way anyone know if they are going to bother showing the 3rd season on TVNZ?

I like Chuck - and I really can't understand why people don't like it. It's a funny show. The 3rd season is all good (about 7 eps in) but I don't know if they're going to show it on TVNZ.

10th episode of a planed 19 total of Chuck will air this Monday in the US. Season 3 has had it's ups and downs, IMO. Episodes 7 and 8 in particular where sub par. The last episode (S03E09 : Chuck versus the Beard) was bloody awesome though. It may have changed the landscape of future episodes.

Chuck gets cut slack by me for having one of the Firefly cast on it. I've turned into one of those sad sacks that are desperate for a Serenity sequel.

Everytime you get that way just remember the Ren-fair aesthetic of most of the series. Barn dances Kirwan, barn dances.

You must watch Castle then?

BTW, only seen a few minutes of Chuck, but Chevy Chase turning up as a bad guy was pretty sweet.

I watched the pilot of Castle, seemed interesting. I'm a big fan of Chuck, and assume it will return to TVNZ when something else finishes. Also a huge fan of Firefly/Serenity - I had it sent to me on VCD from the USA and then bought the DVD set as soon as it was available on Amazon (but all downloading is bad, even when it leads to you buying something).

Over Lost already, the whole alternate world is peeing me off, not to mention the new people in this world (I dont recall Jack having a teen son) and then we have this whole new village of people...at least we are almost halfway through the last series!
spoiler for lost
The temple will get blown up in the next episode we will see here in NZ. The alternate universe is boring at the moment but like I said earlier I think the two realities will merge towards the end and it will become more important and more interesting.

Apparently Syfy are in talks with Ron D Moore for a second spinoff series set in the Galactica universe. Good times.
Caprica is slowly growing on me. It was a slow start but now, that virtual universe of theirs (and the people stuck in it) is getting very interesting.

With Timothy Olyphant starring, I am hoping for a modern day Seth Bullock. It has been getting great reviews. Starts tonight at 10PM est time US.

Mad Men is the top of my list as far as quality TV series go. So is Rescue Me. Best two programs on TV IMHO. Both are currently in their off-season, so new episodes are now being developed for 2010.

having had my MySky hard drive crap itself on Wednesday and a new one not til Friday, got through the rest of S2 of Breaking Bad.

Great series, really enjoyed it, the starting scene they used for a few episodes that related to the final episode was a well done, got you thinking alot, and in the end, quite simple!

Just finished watching the first episode of The Pacific. Started off on the homefront but didn't linger there too long which was good. It doesn't focus on one Company but seems to be about two squads but in different divisions. One of the squads didn't actually turn up until the end of the episode.

It's going to be hard to live up to BoB but the first episode was good enough for me to think it will come pretty close.

Great season of TV, with some excellent (and much needed) comic relief from the Pinkman character. I think that this is about my favourite moment of TV from the past year:
