    Fuck that was good.

Terrific seeing Henry finally doing consistently well too especially with Boult gone and Southee and Wagner surely a bit uncertain as to how long they’ll go on.

@MN5 Agree about Henry's success, but he's hardly the future either at 32.

O'Rourke bowls at a very good pace, just hit 140km.

First ( of hopefully many ) test wickets for the debutant. Great stuff.

Still a good 3-4 years if he stays injury free ( fingers crossed )

Surprised they didnt pick Santner, never been a fan of him and his record isnt flash. But he never gets to play consecutive tests.
Again not unhappy to see him not picked.

Yeah for once he can justifiably feel aggrieved I reckon given I can’t see them pick him for Australia if he’s not playing in this test. With all due respect to him and his efforts vs SA he’s not going to scare that Australian top order.

This Rachin kid is a bit of alright.... I like the balance of the team, with Phillips and Ravindra there as batting all-rounders. Not sure they will trouble the Aussies either, but it makes room for another seamer (Wags)

This is such a joke of a test series. South Africans making us look like world beaters.

Should we be worried about Ravindra taking wickets in the second session given we've dropped santner but the South Africans have picked two spinners? Haven't seen Ravindra's wickets yet so not sure what they were like.

They sent a very understrengthed side and we’re playing at home.

You sound surprised things are panning out like they are.

    Wow a strange dismissal.

Over seemingly called, tv goes to an ad beak then we come back to see Bedingham has been caught off his foot.

Oh well, out is out and we needed to break that partnership.

    Ravindra now with 3

Debuting a 37 year old spin bowler who looks like he is 57 is the exclamation mark on South Africa’s disrespect for this tour…
