Out of that game it's occurred to me that NZ batters need to hit good balls for boundaries, the Aussies just had to wait for the dross.

Fielding the difference. Three dropped catches mean we were up against it.

We have no excuse for not being near the top in fielding. Our quality has dropped right off - then the batting/bowling can stack up.

Small grounds mean run rate isn't as scary as you'd normally expect. Hell, edges go for 6. I'm disappointed, but we were competitive (if a little lucky at times)
