Watched The Secret Life Of Bees on Thursday night.<br />
<br />
Really enjoyed it and is it Queen Latifah that is the lead role?? I don't know a heck of a lot about acting but I thought she was awesome in it.
<br />
<br />
I watched that the other night, and it was surprisingly good. Very strange cast, three singer/actors in the lead and what the hell was Paul Bettany doing in this film (Although he was brilliant, unrecognisable at times).<br />
<br />
Did feel like I was in Oprah's book club at times though. -
You two need to watch Commando or Cobra now before it's too late!
<br />
<br />
The compromises of marriage unfortunately. I do my best to ruin them with "witty" comments and pointing out plot holes but she keeps watching them. <br />
<br />
"You're a disease, and I'm the cure...." <chew toothpick> -
Nice. Can't go past the " 'I'll do it, I'll do it man! I got a bomb! I'll blow this whole place up!' 'Go ahead, I don't shop here anyway' " exchange though. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /><br />
<br />
Wonder if it is out on Blu-ray? -

Was Paul Bettany the Father??<br />
<br />
Who were the other singers in it?? I kind of recognised the middle sister. Is it the girl from Wu Wang Gang or something? -

Yeah. The other two were Jennifer Hudson (American Idol, Dreamgirls) and Alicia Keys. Who the fuck are Wu Wang Gang? -

<br />
Im truly hoping that was intentional. <br />
<br />
I actually refused to watch this on the grounds it was going to be shit and because Dakota Fanning was in it. I gave the wife a guilt trip in the DVD shop and pouted till we got Surrogates (Which was shit). Now your telling me I should have gotten the chick flick? <br />

Quite the difference... -
Went and saw Boy last night. Very, very funny with a bit of sadness thrown in.<br />
Some moments reminded me of growing up on the coast, especially the "You fuck up", "Nah, you fuck up" arguments.<br />
Does have a quick, yet random, ending which will throw a few people off but still a must see.<br />
<br />
4/5<br />

My fav. quote:<br />

<br />
Watched the trailer for that, not sure if that will come to OZ on the big screen. Looks funny. -

<br />
Just hope they don't ruin it...<br />
<br />
like the trailer I saw next to this one..aargh Shrek 4, 2 was only just bearable! -
My son has just discovered Toy Story 1 & 2, very cute watching a 2 year old running around say "To Infinity and Beyond!"<br />
<br />
Looks like they aren't shying away from the darker themes as well as the humour, so it should be good. And has there been a bad pixar film? Can anybody name one, they have crazy levels of quality. -
The latest Expendables Trailer;<br />

<br />
Worth watching just to see Arnie, Stallone and Bruce in the same shot <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> -
And continuing the action/80s vibe;<br />

Nope cant think of any dud they have made, theres couple i didnt enjoy as much (yep i know they are for kids but they are made so well adults should enjoy watching them as well)<br />
<br />
Caught 'Up' a couple weeks ago, brilliant movie. The first part with the couple growing old together had the Mrs in tears.<br />
<br />
Toy Story 2 ranks right up there as one of the best sequels ever. -

Liam Neeson is going fully fledged action star these days. First Taken and now this. Looks watchable. -

Watched "Clash of the Titans" in 3D yesterday. I give it the thumbs up.<br />
<br />
Its simple, a trifle cliched in parts, and Sam Worthington acts like a bricklayer from Perth, but shit, it had all the ingredients i look for in a mythical adventure. Visually its pretty cool too, with the action all being fairly hectic rather than looking all cool and polished.
