Fielding the difference. Three dropped catches mean we were up against it.

We have no excuse for not being near the top in fielding. Our quality has dropped right off - then the batting/bowling can stack up.

Small grounds mean run rate isn't as scary as you'd normally expect. Hell, edges go for 6. I'm disappointed, but we were competitive (if a little lucky at times)

Shit I get embarrassed at how NZ sports fans treat some touring Australian sportspeople

Milnes last 2 balls were not good. That was probably the difference.

    Oh well.

Yeah - Marsh and David were well capable of scoring the 35 they needed off the last two overs.

After Milne's first three balls, I thought he just needs to bowl one more that doesn't go to the boundary. Unfortunately, he got smoked.

Timmy did well to take it to the last ball - though Marsh should have put the full toss into the stand.

Some of the early overs by Santner and Sodhi were pretty poorly directed. Asking to be smashed and they were.

Overall, I'm pretty happy that we didn't get smashed, because I wasn't optimistic about this series.

Unless nephew and his son have moved secrtely lol.

A few changes for both teams. Young, Chapman and Boult in.

    Aus to bat.

Pre game comments going on about the small boundaries. Expect a shitload of sixes

Sorry I meant Clarkson, not Chapman.

Aw hang on, they both played. SEARS is who I meant.

Fucken hell, I really need to follow T20 more.

    Smith gone already, nice review.

Keystone cops shortly after as Mitch Marsh hits it in the air and Sodhi does all he can not to catch it and succeeds

Is Ravindra injured? Seems an odd choice to replace him.

Milne really does seem quite average, not sure why we keep picking him. Boylt not much better, maybe it's time to retire.

    Ridiculous total coming up.

    Too many pies and wides.

Not sure I’m a fan of Sears bowling action. Looks like an injury waiting to happen

What is wrong with our fielding at the moment? It's been good for so long and now it's substandard

Wickets the key here. Only way we've got a chance to restrict them to a gettable total.

What is a gettable total? Anything less than 230?

I would say 220-230 is par, I think it would be possible to chase down 250 if the batters get in the zone.

Is this surface a bit tough to judge the pace on? Lots of mishits toady. Could also be going too hard because of the hype about the short boundaries too. Be interesting to see what it's like when we bat.
