I don't think it would TR. Yeah it sounds extraordinary to think what they're putting in that amount of saturated fats, salt and refined sugar, but having a binge after burning up a hell of a lot of energy building up to their events and then the actual competing would mean a big burst in 'energy' would be more about bringing some equilibrium.

Plus they'll need the extra energy boost for the partying and extracurricular activities thereafter.....

So a gold, two silvers and a bronze so far today. Plus Walsh and Gill qualifying for shot final. Good shit, people.

On a boo note, Lydia isn't playing very well. One unders aren't going to win her anything.

After years of eating healthy those Maccy Ds must taste good, but I reckon with all that fat... let's just say I wouldn't want want to be clearing out the Olympic dunnies.

A few of those weightlifters look like they spend a bit of time at Maccas anyway, on their way to KFC!

And one real big throw about twenty two and a quarter metres by a Yank thrower. Looks like Tom Walsh will be looking at silver at best after that one.

And Jacko with a good 20.5 metre throw in his latest shot. Shame Mark Watson is doing the commentary - it means I have to have the mute in operation.

Woah, thought the Great Wall was about to close up in front of Wilis about 70m out.
