I'd bowl Phillips from one end and rotate Sears and Henry at the other for the whole session. I'd have an extra couple of close in fielders for Phillips too.

Chances to win a test against Aus are few and far between.

That bloody hotspot with Haddin was devestating.

This one we have partially bottled. We bowled really well at times - and got edges, but fundamentally dropped catches and bad luck cost us. Far out it's annoying

Phillips looking good. Needs Henry to tighten it up and the pressure will start to build, but while they're scoring freely at the other end they won't be too worried about just blocking Phillips out.

140-run partnership at 5 an over, this has been very fucking good by Australia. 80/5, still needing 200, and this is what they do? The belief in their ability is unreal

On the bright side noticable improvement from the Black Caps.

We went from loosing the game due to a 100 run partnership for the 10th wicket to loosing the game due to a 100 run partnership for the 6th wicket...

Or is that actually getting worse?
