Feels like there's a decent XI of about 7-8 there, and then the rest is scratching/hoping/aiming for development.

Happy for Tim Robinson, he was having a sublime T20 season for the Firebirds before injury struck.

Given our top 7 players are unavailable, I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the strength of that squad. Pakistan will basically be full strength for this, so we'll get pumped, but with basically an entire top order unavailable (Conway, Ravindra, Williamson, Mitchell, Phillips) about as good as iswe could have hoped for.

About to really test the depth now with Allen and Milne out...

    Well deserved for Foulkes, actually.

but, yeah, will definitely be a severe test of depth. Particularly batting depth.

The timing for watching from here is about as brutal as the scorecards will be...

Live now on YouTube - Edit: Well that was a waste of time. Abandoned to rain after two balls with NZ 2 for 1 wicket.

That’s a hell of a lot of action for two balls I have to say

Unfortunately no surprises - our batting is as poor as it looked like on paper. 😞

    That's a very pleasant surprise!

Chapman certainly has the talent to succeed at the very top level. It's just about turning it into consistency I guess.

    I watched this game
Sohdi put in a very good 4 over spell.
    O’Rourke tidy as well.
Chapman was outstanding he had some decent support from Foxcroft.
Pitch was a road as expected.

@Chris agree re: Sodhi, that's a match winning spell, by far the best bowler of either side.

The bits of highlights I have seen showed Foulkes bowling early to mid 130's. A bit faster than what I thought. @Chris you were right about his speed.

Chapman always seems to his best when no one in NZ is watching.
