Explain the 5th of April?
It's the day in April that always comes in between the 4th and the 6th. I'm really quite surprised that you've never come across it before.

This would be funnier if I was American
m/dd - is actually one of my top 3 concerns about my upcoming move to seppo-land.
...
yyyy-mm-dd - makes sense. 100% support it. It's fucking ISO standard.
mm/dd/yyyy - can fuck right off. Zero sense. ABSOLUTE fluffy-bunny of a thing.
mm/dd - I guess kinda makes a little sense, if we're in the context of "if yyyy was involved, it would come first". But we're not. We know perfectly well that any fluffybunny using mm/dd - if they wanted to use a year, would stick it at the end. And fuck that. Fuck that to all hell and back.
Feel free to move to GOM thread. But fucking hell I hate seppos using mm/dd. -

It’s in Barcelona. My then 10 yo son pointed it out to me when I thought we were on a cultural trip a few years ago, to expand his mind.

Actually am well aware of it as it's one day before Mrs Boo's birthday and thus usually induces extreme anxiety...
