Last Ep of Outcast - I liked the series, but still not 100% I know what is going on!
I don't think it is quite as simple as these people all being possessed by demons. I think it may be something else entirely
-

I haven't started it yet as my friend has been watching and he said he isn't enjoying it anywhere near as much.

Started the latest series of Orphan Black too...first ep confused the hell out of me with a flashback that I didn't realize was a flash back until the 2nd ep. Seems to have taken a bit of a leap to a new story arc.

That series is really good. Has two distinct 'halves' to it. The writers manage to get a hold on the overall plot line again. I enjoyed it.

I haven't been watching much recently but am about 4 eps in to Hap and Leonard. Bit of a slow burner and very dry but well worth the effort with some excellent lines and characters. Michael Kenneth Williams (Omar from The Wire) is always a good watch.
-

started 11.26.63

James Franco stars as a High School teacher who is shown a time portal that allows him to travel back to 1960, but the main point of the guy that showed him was to get him to go back and prevent JFK's assassination, in 1963. Has it's own set of time travel rules.

Watched 3/6 eps so far, is a decent watch.
-

That is my pick for Stephen Kings best book. I saw a couple of episodes and it looked good .
-

West world has a decent cast, starts up in October. I remember the movie as being pretty good,

Had a pretty torturous production process, will probably be a mess.
-

has anyone watched the 2nd series of Mr Robot yet? Does it live up to the first? I'm going to start tonight, and wouldn't mind knowing what i am in for

I have watched up to episode 6 and so far, no, it hasn't lived up to the first. Seems to be slowly getting better though.
-

Anyone else had a go at The Get Down? I'm enjoying it but you do need to get past the pilot part and into the following episodes for it to lose much of its cheesiness

'>

The sets and costumes are bang on and funny. Jimmy Smit is good and the young lead is a star in the making. Even Jaden Smith is good in it. I like the fact/fiction interweaving (I had forgotten all about the NY blackouts, how run down and shitty NY was in the 70s etc).

A review that is fairly spot on here: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/netflixs-get-down-tv-review-916749

Wondered why the first episode was 90minutes and the others were only 60.

I've watched the whole thing and really enjoyed it. Hope they get to make a second series

Agree that the first is pretty cheesey
-

Stranger Things is one of the best shows I've seen this year. Really great, ET meets X-Files meets a Stephen King book. Basically they waited so fucking long to make a good TV series of IT & now these guys beat them to it & did it perfectly

Add to that, Bojack Horseman. I just watched 3 seasons straight, one of the deepest most thought provoking & excellent things on telly. It looks like a shit cartoon, but its actually superb. And the voice acting is fricking Will Arnet, Aaron Paul, Alison Brie, Lisa Kudrow, Kristin Schall etc... god its good. No one belives me when I say that & then go "its about a man-horse who was a big TV star & is now an alcholic dating an owl voiced by Phoebe from Friends, his best friend is a human played by Aaron Paul, who actually is good, and his agent is a pink cat who he used to date & he hangs out with a former child star who has a massive drug problem & is voiced by Kristin Schall whose catchphrase is "suck a dick shit heads".... Catching up on season five of Veep. Their writers are brilliant.

You vastly oversold the strippers you've been bragging about mate.
