I suspect it will happen but it would be a mistake in my view. Funaki's error rate is miles lower than Chrstie's and he suits the way the Blues play.

He needs more time in the midfield but he's starting to play bit like Heem. A 12/13/wing utility is so useful.

Great to see. Crusaders did this for years - kept solid Super players around as they enjoyed the environment and the rugby. Feels like there's been a cultural turnaround over the last few years that is paying off

Not a good year to be injured. There is one or two spots in the back three to fill in the AB squad and Zarn has the required qualities for that. His big left foot could be used in order to get rid of the banana kicks for touch when penalties are given on the right side of the pitch.

There was an update on Christie in an article.. he’ll miss next weeks game too. He should be back for the final round robin game vs the Chiefs

I reckon he's been the best, or at least one of the best pick-ups for the Blues in the last few years. Good glue player to have around RI especially.

I remember seeing him play as a youngster and thought he would be an AB for sure. That may not be the case, but he's got class and I think would make for a great combination with RI.

@gt12 He just hasn't been given a regular opportunity yet, but if Heem moves on, I feel like we'll see a lot more of him. A very good versatile player.
