Brumbies v Crusaders

Despite the last play, the Crusaders can feel annoyed after that shocking forward pass that Tom Wright threw was missed.
I thought I saw the Canes get away with some shockers last night, but that just took the piss.

@Bones If someone is near the ball and gets denied a chance to catch it then it is.

It might be somewhere in the laws, but that's not what happened.

I'm watching the interviews with two pantomime horses dancing in the background. Mrs M comes in, notices and asks if I've tuned to a kids channel...

That's Brumby Jack and Brumby Jill

@Victor-Meldrew The pantomime horses could have done a better job than the Crusaders' coaching team this season.

@Bones I thought it was a penalty try, Strange denied the Brumbies chaser a chance to get there by doing something completely illegal. A dumb play.

Watch the replay and what the chaser was trying to do (hint: he wasn't trying to catch it)

Can we safely say the Saders chance for the final 8 are gone?
No.
Two wins and the Drua not getting points and they get there.
Nuts eh

Ironically even if that happened Drua would have 5 wins and Crusaders would have 4

@Bones Well he should have removed all doubt by not punching the ball dead, and if he does it with the Brumbies player that close to the ball which he did, he left the refs with no choice. It was a complete brain explosion.

I don't think it was likely the Brumby would have caught it even if Strange. He may have but if I was a betting man I reckon he wouldn't.
On that basis I don't agree with the call. However can't argue with it too strongly either.
-
How thrilled would you be to have a teammate cost you the game doing something so dumb?

Now THAT is a ( cheaply and quickly made but still very funny and effective ) Sports Meme !

Just been leaked to me that Quinten Strange has been approached by the One New Zealand Warriors to swap codes effective immediately.

SBW did the same thing against France. Unfortunately the outcome was the same.
Strange looked at the ref as if it was the first time he heard the law. As soon as I saw it I realised what was next
