My guess is that he is in competition with Havili for the inside back utility role. It will be interesting to see who they go with there.

    We already know the answer

I think we do, but it's an interesting test. To be fair, if they pick Havili as a 12 who covers 10, maybe that's justified if they go with Dmac, Barrett, Perofeta.

I personally would select Plummer ahead of Perofeta as this stage though, and if they choose 3 10s, we don't really need extra 10 cover.

If the Blues go on and win the title does Plummer keep his spot over Beaudy next year? Would be pretty brutal if he was dropped.

I dont't get the BB hate (well I guess I do from Canes fans). He'll be a strong option at fullback, and a great backup ten. Just looking at the injuries this year at ten, having three quality options is great for the squad.

If Plummer keeps this form up the person who should be worried is Perofeta.

I think Perofeta is already well behind Plummer.

I think the BB hate from last year was more directed at Leon.

He absolutely refused to even consider another option at 10 even though these days Beauden is a superior 15 than 10.

Will be interesting if Zarn sticks around given he is off contract I think.

@Kirwan it's not hate against BB, as a non Blues supporter I'm just saying it would be harsh on Plummer if he was able to do what BB failed to and win a title for the Blues at 10 and then lose his spot to a player that's clearly passed his best.

As a Blues fan, I want all three pushing each other to improve. If BB gets a shot and plays better, good for him.

Remember in 2014/15 people saying the same about Carter. He managed to put together an epic 12 months. Way too early to write off a player like him.

@Kirwan fair call, iron sharpens iron so to speak. Plenty of depth in a key position which is what you want aswell I guess.
