Tires on Netflix was pretty good. As it was made as a webseries originally I thought it would be shite. Not bad though.

    3 Body Problem to continue...

The sci-fi adaptation, which launched its first season in March, is officially set to air second and third installments before coming to a close, offering clarity to the streamer’s previous statement that it would return “with all-new episodes to take viewers through the full journey of this epic saga.”

    Sexy Beast

A prequel to the Movie of the same name.

( and like so many prequels I wonder if it’s really that necessary but there you go….)

Pretty entertaining so far and the two leads do a good job although they seem about the same age, I always though Don was much older than Gal ( given that’s how they appear in the movie )

But five episodes in and pretty good fun so far. Lahn din geezer shows are usually worthwhile.

Anyone had a look at Dark Matter? Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly as well as a few other recognisable faces.

    Ep 1 was promising.

Four episodes in and better than I thought it would be.

Concerned it would be just a case of "Good Jason" vs "Bad Jason" but hasn't devolved to that yet.

Interesting sliding doors thought provoking with multiple universes and what if you could "have it all"?

Seven episodes now and still really good, even if it may feel like a slow burn.

The introduction of a third Jason at the gun store opens up the possibilities that with each door they're opening may have unintended consequences - especially if they interact or in Amanda's case stays behind and then decides to get her own Jason..? Then could start spilling out into other universes.

@antipodean yeah I am enjoying it too.

Yeah I think it is not really as simple as good/bad, just more the butterfly effect, not only on our lives, but the world around, particularly your own view of the world.

Is interesting how selfish Jason has the doors sorted, while dad-Jason still really has no idea.

    @antipodean sorry, forgot to mention

yeah new Jason, who is dad-Jason but one that took another path since going through the doors, so with the same destination in mind (he may even still be with another Amanda too) not sure any of the Jason's thought about this consequence, even selfish Jason.

Would be nice if it was easier to identify new Jason and dad Jason though, a red ribbon or something haha

Also, Jennifer Connelly still looks good.

Finished both Malcolm in the Middle and Futurama on the weekend.

Really enjoyed MITM, Futurama, like Family Guy and other similar series, have some great episodes and some shit ones, but by and large are just OK and easy time fillers.

Just started My Name is Earl.

Watched S1 of Billy The Kid, is pretty good, supposedly based on his life, touching on his childhood as an Irish immigrant through to his seemingly unwanted notoriety as Billy The Kid.

    Also finished Dark Matter.

    Was pretty good all up.

all these new Jason's managed to find the right Chicago at the same time, and I think it was the original abducted Jason that found his way to his family...

I guess the other thing, is there must be multiple Jason 2s out there as well, while there is also his mate Leighton that he sent off with 50 vials.

Be interesting to see if they do a 2nd season, and where they go with it.

    Dark

    German apocalyptic time travel thriller.

Starts out genuinely interesting and compelling in the first series but ( like so many other shows ) just descends into utter shit in the following couple of seasons.

The time travel goes from exciting and surprising to convoluted, confusing, ridiculous, depressing and just utterly fucken boring.

I’m annoyed the girl is still making me watch it.

So, turns out Dark Matter had 9 eps, not 8, decent finish that I think points to not needing a 2nd series, whether they do another or not, who knows.

    Excellent recommendation.

Haven't found it suspenseful as such - but a bloody good series. Gritty, well-written, well-acted. No cliches or stereotypes. A really fresh watch

@Victor-Meldrew that's interesting, I can't think of another show that built tension for me as well as this.

I was typically on edge for the last ten minutes of every episode as was the other half. But maybe that's a Jeff Daniels thing for me

@Bones Only 2 episodes in so maybe it changes? We're finding it gripping but not in a suspenseful way.

It is/was fucking good... and yeah, got a little bit confusing - but there's a website for that. A really fucking well done and well thought out website for that.

    THE END IS THE BEGINNING

    THE END IS THE BEGINNING

Discover how everything is the same, but different.

Yes - I had to search through that once in a while (before every fucking episode) - but... it's a bloody well done thing overall.
    Get smarter, enjoy it.
(Genuinely... that website is fucking well done, and I needed to trawl through it before each episode to remind me of what the fuck was the fuck.
And if that ain't for you... maybe... Love Island?)

    That is a clever website.

But it’s still shit. This last season is dragging and it is SO fucken boring.

If Time Travel is gonna be in a TV series/movie it has to be full of action ( Terminator ) or hilarious ( Back to the Future ) this is well and truly neither.

I think you liked it cos it occasionally had tits in it.
