@Bovidae as with The Boys, I'm waiting for the whole season to come down....

Currently watching Outer Range with Josh Brolin, about half way through, is decent enough without being must watch.

Anyone have any Paramount suggestions (not the Yellowstone universe) - I have it for a limited time via Prime, but the app is such a piece of junk I can't find anything. For stuff I know is available I've had to actually search for it.

    Dark

    German apocalyptic time travel thriller.

Starts out genuinely interesting and compelling in the first series but ( like so many other shows ) just descends into utter shit in the following couple of seasons.

The time travel goes from exciting and surprising to convoluted, confusing, ridiculous, depressing and just utterly fucken boring.

I’m annoyed the girl is still making me watch it.

I hear you there - the third season I recall was exactly the same as season 1 but with the characters switched around - unbelievibly lazy writing. I gave up totally 2 shows into season 3.

    I wish I had.

I watched the whole thing because I was made to.

Every single character had only two emotions. Confused and/or Angry. No happiness just confusing ridiculousness which reached its peak when there was four versions of the dark haired chick ( Martha ? ) interacting with each other.

Give me flux capacitors and Skynet any day.

Cheers, just looked and it's on Stan in Oz, not Paramount.

Is it the chick form Trigger Point in it?

@Nepia yeah. I just remembered Tulsa King is on it and it's ten times better anyway.

I'm struggling with S2, mainly because Colin is just such a dick all the time. I can't remember him being such a tool in S1

Billions is on Stan here (I've watched all besides the latest season), Your Honour is Stan, Colin from Accounts is on Binge (watched the first season), saw the offer when I had Paramount when it first launched, the Gold is not available in Oz, I've got no interest in the affair.

But, thanks for the suggestions, will add Tulsa Kings and Mayor of Kingstown to the watch list.

Guess I should stipulate any Oz Paramount account holders have any suggestions?

Sure you’re not referring to Gordo? Colin is the dog, they have taken a different arc with some characters for sure, but I have laughed with most of it.

Ha, yes Gordon, I’m a dog guy and Colin seems a decent enough, if pretty useless, mutt.

Gordon just seems to be overly annoying and not particularly nice in S2 - quite a douche really to the point that Im not rooting for him anymore - which is annoying

@voodoo I get that and kind of agree but also feel a bit sorry for him sometimes too. The cringeworthy behaviour in multiple scenes from him and the cast is different. There doesn’t appear to be a clear hero to support except for them succeeding as a couple which is perhaps threatened too much this season

Still enjoyed it and get your point and even still support poor Colin 😁

@bayimports I only realised recently that they’re husband and wife in real life and they’ve made other stuff too - see Summer Love for a quirky easy watch

I thought this was good, the one thing of Taylor Sheridan's I've actually liked. Although he still managed to shoehorn some Native American caricatures into his mob show. TBF, I may have liked it due to Terence Winter's (ex Sopranos writer) involvement.

Stallone was really good channeling a more likeable and competent Paulie (Sopranos). Is it his first Mafia role?

    Eric done and dusted.

I felt sorry for the kid, I can’t imagine two more unlikable parents if I tried. No wonder he…..

….ran away and ended up living with some homeless folk

Quite a well done series, captured the era ( 1980s New York ) really well. Definitely worth a watch.
