The calls constantly come from people who have no idea how a centre should play. Dollars to donuts if he'd taken other options every time they complained they'd bitch about the predictable outcome too. Case in point when he made the good decision to hold the ball rather than shovel it to marked players in worse positions.

Given the apparent ease at which our wings were skinned on the outside maybe we should select a world-class winger with genuine pace. Pity we have him playing at 13.

He doesn't sum up his options on the way to each ruck, takes too long to make up his mind, throws a laboured pass to a player that can't do anything but stand still waiting for it.
It's fucking astonishing he's an All Black.

What’s up with Christie? Just doesn’t have the game understanding? Lack of combo with Dmac? It was honestly bizarre how static the ball was. Almost like an American Football play.

It's just who he is. He's not a player who has fast service or an accurate pass.

Great, the modern day Justin Marshall. Pity the rest of the team has the skill to burn other teams when we can play with pace. If defence is what we want in that position, get another loose forward on.
