True, Martin could shred with the best of them if he got a chance.

Goulds bassline in that very cool as well.

Igor Plastinkin released his album of guitar magic. I'm only part way through it, but this track still kicks all kinds of arse.

In funny stuff: because the album is by a Russian chap, some of the titles haven't come across quite soundly in English e.g. the track above is on the album as

"Not Enough of Air"

Along with some others like "Remembering Of Home" and "Don't Afraid!"

Yes. Yes they are. Only bad thing about them is the lead singer gets really bad sweat patches and is constantly brushing his hair out of his eyes.

They did some genuinely cool shit back in the day.

I'd add Joe Jackson, Go West and Style Council to the list of "80s stuff that should be shit but is actually good"

You can't beat Power Station though, good old Robert Palmer rocking out in a suit like he's just come back from a business meeting ( and they had the guitarist and bassist from Duran Duran too of course, another to add to the above list. )

"I ran" is my favourite "80s" song. It's got everything you want in an 80s pop track, and when you add the video, it's a work of art.

Probably only a couple of you on here into this sort of music but I've been pretty much been listening to these guys exclusively for the last couple months.

They've been around for well over a decade but only there last 3 albums have had an international release. Best band I have listened to in years. Really hanging out for them to announce some shows in Oz as they've been doing the US/Europe circuit heavily with rave reviews and now with a bit of a name for themselves hopefully they will check out this hemisphere soon. These 3 videos are from each of their 3 major releases, quite a bit of development between albums, I think I slightly prefer the darker earlier album 'Black Waltz' but that might be partly due to my recent state of mind, really is a fantastic angry break-up album! 5 angry death metal clown screams outta 5.
