Of course he'd say that. How are the rest of their swimmers? If they were dominating perhaps one could point to a systemic issue.

I bet if an Aussie or Yank swam that fast they'd be singing a different tune.

Absolutely. We flew that 500-250 to go to get neck and neck then the yanks just took off.

Rowing is where it's at mate. We just annihilated them in the mens 4. Thats all that counts ....

Seriously though, that is expected isn't it? Hockeyroos (or whetever they're called) are fairly handy.
