I haven't read the whole article, did she intentionally film him dying? If not, I'd be inclined to say it's fairly tragic. Otherwise there's a whole lot of sick fucks filming plane crashes at airshows.

Herald deploys AI for editorial, admits lack of rigour

The New Zealand Herald’s publisher NZME says it should have employed more “journalistic rigour” when it used artificial intelligence tools to create an editorial that appeared in the Weekend Herald, online and in regional papers recently.

"AI" - this generation of it - has turned out to be an absolute fluffybunny.
I try to AskJeeves what the best <gadgetA> is of 2024 - and all I get is 2 dozen obviously-AI-written pieces of bullshit, presumably being driven by the next generation of "SEO"... (I'm assuming "AI-O" is the current big thing, lurking in the shadows.)

But when fucking "news"papers are also doing that. Fluffybunnies.
At what point do we start paying for news services based on "%words written by hu-...person" ?
