Hard to pick three. Thought Darry was good in his debut, Ratima should start, TJ has all the problems that people criticise Christie for with worse defence. And even with that shocker pass I liked DMac at ten.

Taylor had a decent workrate. He didn't have his worst game. The real problems came once he went off. If that comes across as faint praise, then yeah it's faint praise.

BB did one or two good things. I considered him for my third vote. But was off in his defensive work tonight.

Paps tackled well as ever (I'm a big fan) but we need more from him at the breakdown. I thought he was a little below par frankly.

If there had been a None Of The Above button that would have been my third vote.

Fair enough, most of the loosies looked off at the breakdown when it came to snaffing ball. Ardie makes it look easy but he seems to only go for it sporadically.

8 tackles and 3 carries in 65 minutes apparently. Doesn't exactly scream top 3 performance but maybe he was doing all the dirty Thorne type work.

ALB was best for me, both locks were v good and DMac created plenty. Bench let us down. Aumua won't be pleased with his display.

Sort of weird because, when we looked good everyone looked good, and when we looked bad, everyone looked bad.

Darry was good.
Everyone else was rocks and diamonds. DMac was good for the most part and looked like he was trying to control thr game with those wipers kicks. But that pass back...
BB did nothing wrong and a couple of things right.
Blackadder tried really hard. Lomax put in a shift.
ALB had 2 bad moments but lots of good ones.

Taylor didn't even have to scrum, yet he was rather anonymous around the field and I can't forgive him for getting bundled by Vaai, who's never bundled anyone before.

@Bones Like I say, faint praise. He did the basics okay. 3rd vote was definitely for the least worse player.

I was going to go for ALB like you, but then I remembered how poor our midfield defence was.
