The pentathlon is army biased. I suggest a naval pentathlon as well.

Fencing. Your ship has been boarded and it's a cutlass fight.

Platform Diving. Abandon ship.

Swimming. obviously

Boxing. You've landed on a tropical island and need to fight the local tribe in order to steal a canoe.

Kayaking (if you win your Boxing bout)

Better than swimming I think (unless there are hungry sharks) would be standing under a monstrous grove of coconut trees and trying to avoid the coconuts thrown at you by capuchins.

I think I'd like the Dutchwoman to win the other race - I think she nearly got beaten by Shaane Fulton (?) - but, I don't think she will. Good they've gone to three in the other semi - it can't hurt!

Just flicked onto the women's modern pentathlon. They've already done the showjumping and the fencing, quick change and now swim next. The pool looks small, maybe 25m?

Wollaston in 5th after 2 events in the omnium. Not many points off a bronze. I don't know how they are able to work out the placings in the tempo race for those who scored no points at all. Anyone know?

We are currently 12th in the medal table, just behind Canada with both having 9 golds and 7 silver. Canada have a lot more bronzes than us. I presume that given we will win at least a silver this means we will finish in 11th.
