As I read it, it was a joke at BSG's expense
Its a joke at another persons expense. Why do this? Who knows what goes on in BSGs life or whether he still reads this forum.
Because he was a monumental hypocrite.
BSG was a monumental prick here, he was constantly rude and abused his moderator powers. He gave little to no regard for anyone else's thoughts or opinions.
He is not missed.One of my favourite BSG idioms was "I am not saying anything here that I wouldn't say to someone's face in the pub" - my immediate thought was that he either gets decked every time he goes to the pub or he clearly doesn't go to the pub very often.
I just bank on being a faster runner than most of you old fluffybunnies.
That's the reason I regularly drink at the Petone working Men's Club. Those old fucks are busy trying to out run death. They don't have a chance against me

As a public servant, I have no idea about free piss. I do spent a lot of time at Trenny though. I would happily wind up people about their shit ill informed political opinions across a leaner though.

It only funny to a certain type of person. I know as I was sort of like this once.
Dead from the head down who can only feel when angry or having a 'joke' at another persons expense.
Regarding BSG. He did the right thing IMO. He was an annoying but important part of the TSF family and decided to leave so said goodbye. And as is his right gave the reasons. He left with my respect and admiration.
And anyone who thinks BSG is Winger needs to take say fish oil. We are very different and both joined TSF at close to the beginning. In the dictator bartman days.

Adding some sport into this. A truck driver from Wainui is currently throwing against Luke the Nuke Littler. I bet Jonny Tata from Wainui has thrown pins at the Petone Working Men's Club. I reckon he's ignored political bullshit at the leaner too.
