People were genuinely upset when I deleted that. From memory it was half the size of the forum Database in one thread.
Since Duluth took over running the site such transgressions are in the past.
As for @Winger, I've been off an on running this forum for 22 years (fucks sake). Over that time, people have come and gone and come back again many times. Hopefully, you'll be one of them. I disagree with you about many things, but the good thing about that is it makes you examine what your opinion is.
Wish we didn't have to moderate you so much though, that's a bit tiresome.
The best advice I can give you is it's just people talking on the internet. We don't change anything here, we won't win elections or even really change people's minds. It's a good place to keep up to date on sport and let off some steam, it's not that serious.
If you think you are spending too much time on here (that's happened to a few people), just post less.
With some of the new features coming from Duluth, the Fern will be the best place to follow Rugby in NZ. He's really outdone himself.
Anyway back to the popcorn.

Taken a few breaks myself. Post if something piques my interest, occasionally just to let others know that I am still alive (in the unlikely event that they actually care).
@Dodge disappears from time to time, a few others. Nobodies account gets deleted it seems, they just lie dormant until something pisses you off enough to have another go.
@Winger You never know you might find yourself lurking and an irresistible urge to respond to something. The ruling elite may get exposed and the masses arise to overthrow them or something, you may be feel the need to gloat. You do have the dubious honour of being the only poster that I have ever blocked, but it was too weird seeing the responses to you without actually seeing whatever bullshit had elicited those responses, so you were reinstated.

Taking breaks from the Fern is never a bad thing, i find its best to let the past go and move on.
The Fern should be somewhere to go for a laugh or a good debate, too many take it way too seriously.
@Winger made the right call to take a step back. Touch the grass so to speak.
He's not the first to do so and im sure he wont be the last.Many seem to like lurking here not drawing any attention to themselves, for a long while that was me
