The business end of the PGA Tour starts later this week with the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennesse.
With the end of the regular season the players who finished in the Top 10 of the FedExCup Standings got some nice bonuses, highlighting season long performance. Scottie Scheffler claimed the No.1 spot of course and earned a cool $8 million. Xander finished in second earning $6 million and Rory finished in 3rd place earning $4.8 million. Shane Lowry rounded out the Top 10 and got $2 million.

Only the Top 70 in the FedExCup Standings qualify to play in this week's tournament and then it gets cut again to the Top 50 for the BMW Championship next week, then the Top 30 in the standings progress to the Tour Championship at East Lake so plenty to play for at the St. Jude Championship this week for alot of the players who are outside the Top 50 currently in points.

Now that she has the monkey off her back, Lids might be primed for another great run

You know her winning at St Andrews on the old course just seems to me to really be so right. So bloody pleased for the girl!

I watched the final few holes - she was so composed, played 17 flawlessly and nailed the birdie at the last - that was enough pressure on the rest of them that they all crumbled.

    Sounds like Paris!

@KiwiPie that was a great birdie on 18. Just added so much pressure for the others.

I'm off sick so watched the entire last round on replay. Great clutch golf from Ko.
Didn't realise how liked she seems to be judging from the commentary - everyone wants to play with her, everyone respects her. Just a class act. Cheering her opponents shots - and a great acceptance speech.

    Class act.

She's now taking two weeks off to go on a golfing holiday.

That's a couple of really clutch wins for Lydia, winning at the home of golf is probably one of those things on the bucket list that every golfer has, so pleasing to see her win with style and composure.

She does seem very relaxed these days - has mastered switching off between shots and then switching on when she needs to. That approach to 17 was masterful given the rain came lashing in horizontally and there are many ways to drop shots on the road hole.

She crossed off a couple of big goals in Paris, especially the HoF qualification which she had admitted was playing on her mind. Now she can just try to win for fun

Such a great win for Lydia at the home of golf. Only 2 other LPGA players have achieved that so she joins an exclusive club. Alot of great comradery between the players on the LPGA compared with the PGA Tour. Many of the players that had completed their rounds a while before were there congratulating Lydia on her victory.

Women's Golf is a better watch than men's golf at the moment.

I’ve found this for about the last 10 years. Other than the majors and Ryder cup etc, I hardly watch the men’s golf.

Women’s golf is much more relatable. Plus can be very pleasant viewing at times.

    Great stuff for Lydia!

I watched some pros play my course last weekend. Tees were way back. My favourite hole plays 400 yard dog leg which I drive then about a 5 iron in (on the rare time I do it right). I am a short hitter (230ish drive.

These blokes were driving over the trees then lob wedge on from just off.

The 9th is a par 4 I cannot reach in 2. They were using a Pw on their second.

Different gravy. Ladies golf so much more relatable.
