    James Earl Jones.

Obviously known for his iconic voice as Darth Vader but great in a number of other movies like Coming to America, Field of Dreams, etc..

    RIP.

"Impressive, most impressive. Obi-Wan has taught you well."

    If you know, you know.

It was awesome that he voiced DV again in the Obi Wan show a couple of years back.

I wonder if Disney will retire the character from live action given his story has well and truly been told. Would be a nice gesture.

    Yeah Right $$$$$
    See leia and Hoff

I hear you, I really do.

But as I mentioned before James Earl Jones is SO synonymous with the character, how could anyone else possibly do the voice ?

I think I heard on a podcast that he has licensed his voice for use as Darth Vader.

Knee injury stuffed his career. Unfortunate not to have won a senior England cap but sat behind Keegan, Frances, Woodcock, Mariner and teammate Withe in the pecking order.

A career defined by one month of football. Did very little before or after the summer of 1990, but had a great summer UEFA Cup, Golden Boot and Golden Ball.

Always seemed stunned / surprised by his success

Bugger. One of my favourite old lady actresses. Her acerbic Downton Abbey character was outstanding.

@MiketheSnow One of the greats. She had her first screen credit in 1954. I am sure lots of people will be watching some of film performances for another 30-40 years at least.

Haven't seen most of her cannon because I'm not a big fan of period drama

But what I have seen, she fills the screen

Uptick which more than makes up for writing "Me and Bobby McGee".

Multi-talented - loved his work with The Highwaymen
