Shit, that’s controversial - I really struggled with S3 after LOVING S1 and S2
So many episodes just didn’t feel necessary

Im with you on this, as for that season 2 fishes episode that was truly out there. (but great TV)
Still will watch season 4, but hopefully now all the back stories are done

Finally got around to watching Shogun (4 eps in), does anyone else feel that the actor playing Blackthorne is terrible? I've seen the actor in other stuff and he's been fine but he just doesn't suit the role to me.
In spite of that I'm enjoying the show.
On The Bear, I liked the season mostly, although the first episode was self indulgent creative arts student wank.

Yeah - Shogun is my equal-fav book of all-time - and he didn't fit the bill of what I was expecting, wasn't a fan at all.

Quite enjoying this season, some good battles and CGI well done.
Im sure the purists won't probably agree, but enjoyable watch

I’m unsure about The Penguin. Good enough show and as you say if you didn’t know it was Farrell… but going by the first episode it seems as though it might fall between two stools. Is it a crime show, is it fantasy? I’ll probably stick with it but I’m hoping it nails its colours to the mast fairly quick.
