    @dogmeat

Most of the yellows in the last string of tests have been team yellows.

Our team is ill disciplined and can't seem to read the room at the appropriate time.

Can’t understand why Razor left the invisibility cloak in Sith HQ?

But, firstly, Richie's got to take the jersey back and even assuming he does, maybe DMac really wants to win a RWC.

Maybe this time Richie wants to?

"hey, we're scoring lots of points early but none late. We need to fix that. By jove I've got it! we'll take the guys who score all the points early, and get them off the field until the end, and get the guys who don't score any points late, and put them on the field early. Genius"

This isn't trying new things, this is retreading old mistakes.

It's been pretty obvious that, whatever the punters might think, the coaches see Beaudy as their number 2 first five. He's pretty much been the injury cover throughout - so they're using this game to give him a run. Cheer up - I have a hunch Richie the Mo will be back ahead of schedule and then we'll have two good test first fives.

TJP's getting a farewell on his home ground - I don't really like this sort of sentimentality, but it's a thing - personnel management, I guess.

They're planning to replace ALB rather than Rieko, so Havili rather than Proctor.

We might, but I'll bet they aren't Mo'unga and Dmac. If Richie is re-signed, the writing will be on the wall and I'll bet that Dmac signs for huge money overseas.

Maybe - it's hard to hold onto second-string players when there's millions on offer.

But, firstly, Richie's got to take the jersey back and even assuming he does, maybe DMac really wants to win a RWC.

Like the idea of giving proctor a run but only with JB at 12 as combinations will help him show his best.

Still worried about on field leadership. Its like all the experience guys who have left were the ones who naturally lead when it was tight and we been left with the followers who have a lot of games to them.

Plummer, dont see the point of a player who is described as a 'made for test' style (% plays, kick for territory etc) is player you want off the bench. Surely he should start.
But if we have learnt anything this AB season super form doesnt count. Its now such a step down it is not a good measure.
Trial one or two at most each game at most to see if they are up to test capability.

Just watched the ABs YouTube video of the last ten minutes. Three things seem pretty clear.

                    1. Aumua was dreadful. Doesn’t really have an excuse with how long he’s been in the set up.
                    2. Dmac’s defence was woeful in the lead up to the last try. Reiko saved his bacon with Dmac looking like he didn’t even want to tackle. Was incredibly slow to get into position over the next few phases, hiding at the back of the ruck.
                    3. The lineout with the reserves on is poor.

What's worrying is it seems to be getting worse - we now seem to capitulate/fall apart when under pressure in the last 20 as if it's normal.

I find it difficult to comprehend the onfield leadership is much worse now when the foster years had so many disappointing performances as well , it’s just confusing and sounds like people are selective where they want to lie the blame .

Unware I blamed anyone and pointed out it had been going on for years so don't get your selective comment.

My point is it's been on a downward slide for quite some time, maybe since 2018. There seemed to be an up-tick last year - Ellis Park, RWC - but it now seems to be getting worse again. We blew a 19 point lead with 10 minutes to go against England a couple of years back and that sort of collapse has happened 2-3 times so far this year.

But, firstly, Richie's got to take the jersey back and even assuming he does, maybe DMac really wants to win a RWC.

Maybe this time Richie wants to?

                                  3rd times a charm…!?

Might need four goes - took Danny boy that many to properly win one! 🙂

Feels like quite a big test for Aumua... has not been good enough for the ABs, and assuming Taukei'aho is not back (which would be bad news for him anyway) Bell is likely to get a crack against Japan, either starting or off the bench.

If Bell goes well, with how Aumua has gone they would be well within their rights to leave Aumua out.

Lam has more potential in the midfield than DH and I'd argue there are better fullbacks. Interesting that TJP has nearly as many caps as Savea.

I hope that bench is literally strong enough, it is going to have to hold up two 140+kg props!
