    Women's 50m freestyle S10 (swimming) - SILVER for Sophie Pascoe
    Men's 100m T44 (athletics) - SILVER for Liam Malone
    Men's javelin F44 (athletics) - BRONZE medal for Rory McSweeney
    Women's B 1000m time trial (cycling) - Emma Foy and Laura Thompson 4th place and Amanda Cameron and Hannah van Kampen 6th place and pb
    Men's 100m T34 (athletics) - Jacob Philips finishes 8th

          So, Bach cops a little bit of controversy for not attendibg the Paralympics. Seen as a snub.

                                        Yes, the Olympic race may have been relatively "slow" for able-bodied athletes, but these Paralympians have shown what a quality athletes there are at the Paralympics!

                                          well, lets not over-egg it. This new record for the paralympics is 22 seconds slower than the real world record. The last time the world record was 3.48 was 1934.

                                          It's a great time, and there are some seriously good displays on offer, but comparing middle distance races purely on time alone doesn't mean much except for a great headline.
