Was comparing, last night, the catch that Ashwin took to get rid of Mitchell, with the one Chapman dropped to give Gill a life.

It is only day THREE today.

Bloody hell test matches go at a fair clip these days.

Might be a bit much to ask these two to survive for two days and set India a total of 400 +.

I think the luck/cricket gods will finally desert us, India should wrap this up pretty convincingly.

That didn’t last long.

Yet more proof that cricket is a batsman’s game. Patel and O’Rourke probably had a tough nights sleep knowing they had to at least try and survive as long as possible and then back up straight away at the bowling crease.

Contrast that with non bowlers like Conway, Young etc who only have to focus on……..fielding.

But yeah, India will wrap this up pretty quick

In some ways it's even more frustrating if we lose by 2 wickets than if they easily knock this off and win by 9 wickets. At least in that case we can tell ourselves nothing would have been enough, whereas a close loss means that those dropped catches really were the difference.
