<p>I went for the exact same 3 players as Kev.</p>

<p>I thought Kara Pryor made some errors but he also looked like one of the best players out on the field. If he can tidy those up he is going to be very dominant this year.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Sam Nock gives us a lot more time than most teams because his service is so good. Maybe it's a one off but I can see why he's so highly rated. He didn't seem that tired when came off so I don't know why he was brought off - he could be a guy that could play 80 minutes I think.</p>

<p>Jordan Olsen was my third pick. He really stood out for me, was very busy and made some powerful runs. As Kev said he's going to push Moulds hard for the starting spot.</p>

<p>Other standouts for me: Neville Goodhue, Matich, Alaimalo and Breen.</p>

Not sure about that. "Side entry" has been redefined. So long as you come from your side of the halfway point of the breakdown you are ok.

<p>Those are some good stats from Matt Matich. I realised he had played well but that was even better than I thought, can't see him losing his spot with numbers like that!</p>

All npc sides back then had very good teams, I mean the players involved in the 2nd div finals in the late 90s was outstanding.

<p>Well, I for one think he has done a good job with the limited resources he has had, has turned the Union around to enable it keep its head above water the past few season, hopefully the legacy he will leave will be one that now allows Northland to start performing on the field too.</p>

Any news on Tom Robinson?

<p>Yeah Matt was far and away our best player last year, one of our most consistent for the past few seasons also, such a shame he was never picked up by a Super team, reckon he woulda had huge gains after being able to train full time.</p>

Disappointed Waipu couldn't get up but the best teams are through to the final.
