Has Jake White decided he’s Australian again and thrown his hat into the ring to be coach yet?

Morgan Turinui - breaker-upper of fights betwixt coach and CEO - wrote an article on The Next Coach

      https://www.therugbyruckus.com/2019/10/23/the-who-and-how-of-the-next-wallabies-coach/

It is an interesting read from a guy who I'd like to see in the coaching ranks ongoing.

EDIT: keeping in mind Morgs is a Randwick guy and reasonably close with Cheika, I think the thing I appreciate is he's fairly neutral about the outcome.

        PHIL KEARNS MANAGING DIRECTOR
Phil has more than ten years of experience leading financial service organisations, headlined by his previous position as Chief Executive Officer at Centric Wealth, as well as senior positions across divisions at Investec, the South African-based investment bank.
Whilst at Centric Wealth, Phil has been instrumental in building the corporate and private bank client base and introducing investors to innovative opportunities, including property and other alternative investments. Phil has helped transform InterRISK into a multimillion dollar business.

        So there you go.

That tendency for the "blokey" side to emerge during the commentary thing is obviously appealing for the ratings thing.

Sounds to me like ex-rugby player with a "jobs for the boys role" wheeled out to wine and dine potential investors.

Meh. Show me an executive who isn't

I agree, wholeheartedly. I'm never surprised when an ex-sportsperson holds a high-paying corporate executive role - it's one of the benefits of having been a high-level sportsperson (along with all that poontang, obviously).

You have to marvel at the level of denial and cuntitude that makes Krusty put results in quotation marks.

We were not good enough to come away with victory and we are all judged by ‘results’ but as we’ve said to each other before inside our dressing room – your worthiness comes from believing in yourself implicitly first, then results will come from that. What kind of bullshit is going here? How is it that Castle thinks it's a good idea to not only undermine her coach by inviting players to a gala dinner, without his knowledge, behind is back but then also blame the entire WC failure on someone her employer is currently locked in a legal stoush with??

Izzy's lawyers will be loving this shit. He wasn't there but is being blamed for the failure...

Click bait title "That's never helpful. Of course, it's not." Not helpful is hardly 'blames'. And she 100% has the right to get her employees to fulfil their duties when the 'team leader' is unable to.

@Machpants it is to an extent "click bait" but its does not remove the fact that she makes mention of him and it's effect on the team. Thats not what you say when this type of legal situation is playing out. you simply don't comment.

If I remember correctly the ARFU ditched Folau thus their CEOs proffered cause of their early exit was entirely of their own making.

                                  That article is pretty ridiculous.

She was clearly asked in an interview if the Folau saga had an effect on the team. And her answer was correct - it certainly wasn't helpful!

But that is a long, long way from blaming him for their demise.

Nov 6 (Reuters) - Rugby Australia (RA) said on Wednesday it has appointed a panel to review the Wallabies 2019 season, which saw coach Michael Cheika stand down after their World Cup quarter-final defeat to England.

The panel will consist of former Australia internationals Pat Howard and Nathan Sharpe, and four-time Olympian Bo Hanson, and will work with RA Director of Rugby Scott Johnson to deliver the review over the next month. It had been tasked with reviewing the entire Wallabies program and World Cup campaign and delivering feedback that will be used for the 2020 international season and future Rugby World Cup and Olympic Games campaigns, RA said.

                                        Pat Howard eh?
