I had no trouble in 2013 getting 2 tickets to the Sydney Test. Yeah sure they weren't sideline, but I wasn't about to pay sideline prices.

We had to go into a lottery to get tickets for Lions Tests, I have never been to a Lions test because of that

TBH at this point I might keep Stan Sport until the end of RWC23 then pull it.

The money could be better used elsewhere. I'm done supporting Australia rugby while it fails to implement change, and pulls stupid shit like 1900 smackers for nothing. Dumb fluffybunnies will no doubt pay that, too...

With the last 7 years of digging a club out of the mire - kicked out in 2016 for a brawl, and then years where we struggled to win more than 1-2 games (and some of those forfeits)... recent events with refs, player disinterest, financial issues at the club, and being the guy who runs everything behind the scenes..

I'm wondering why the fuck I bother? I love the game but feel like it is unhealthy for me at this point to continue trying to help.

There appears to be no cogent strategy to get out of the rut we're in - at any level - and so many Old School Ties just pretend like nothing is wrong and Eddie is going to fix everything.

And there is nobody available to take over my role, so chances are everyone else on the Committee just decides to can it as well. Another club dead.

Don't you have Stan so you can watch the proper rugby, the NPC? 😉

Rugby Australia has floated a "Wallabies First Lions Edition" membership worth $1899.00* for what looks like the opportunity to be first in the queue for tickets, and special events:

What is the Wallabies First Lions Edition Membership Program?
The Wallabies First Lions Edition Membership is an exclusive opportunity for passionate fans of the Australian Wallabies Rugby Team. As a member, you'll enjoy a host of exceptional benefits including priority access to tickets for the highly anticipated 2025 Lions Tour. Stay immersed in the Wallabies' journey with regular news updates, exclusive experiences, and discounts on official merchandise. Holders of this prestigious Wallabies First membership also gain access to additional exclusive free and paid offers, elevating your experience even further. This membership will expire once the 2025 Lions Tour has been completed.

So, to be crystal clear, this doesn't include ANY tickets.

It includes access to tickets and stuff-to-be-released-later.

*I added the decimal and zeroes to make sure nobody thinks that is a typo. The reference is to the First Lions Tour of 1899 I guess...

😂 This is $1899 for the opportunity to buy a ticket plus “other benefits to enhance your experience”

This is what you call a rort.

I not that overly surprised etc with the $1899 thing, it's for those that have the $s to afford it so I don't see anything wrong. To be honet if I lived in Aus and was a Wallaby supporter (and had the money) I would buy one.

Wallabies could badly use BPA. Would easily walk into Wallabies starting side.

Jake Gordon will not play for Toulon as RWC joker. He suffered a concussion when playing for Australia A against Tonga and recovery is expected to take 4 to 8 weeks, which means he cannot start the preparation for the Top 14 season with Toulon. They'll now look for another player, who is available immediately.

Yep, but market it aimed at probably not a problem. I have seen on Aussie forums a few rubishing them with prices etc, but hey, you can still but normal Wallabu gear, and admit if I was a Wallaby supporter with a few extra $s , I might look at some of the stuff.

Alex Hodgman signed by the Reds.

                                      Nice pickup.

@Dan54 yeah...i kind of liked the move, iconic aussie brand etc, RM williams stuff is expensive but also lasts forever...and no ones making anyone but the stuff....its like i dont get when people complain about new jerseys coming out as if they HAVE to buy them
