Depends who we are playing next, so long as its 130kph trundlers you can pull off the front foot or spinners on non spinning tracks he should be fine.
Otherwise I'd rather see them go with the experient of Neesham there, Watling 6, Anderson (if he ever gets fit) at 7 & Santner at 8. Neesham played one solid innings v India & looked ok v the Aussie quicks.
Tho' in the real world a fit Neesham & Anderson together feels too unlikley

Neesh has a lot of class with the bat, and is not troubled by extra pace. I'd be happy to see him give the bowling away and focus on being our 5 in all forms of the game.

Sitting in the pub for beers/cokes with my little men and it wasn't even on the big screens!co had to go and ask them to put it on. I think its fair to say this tour hasn't captured the nations imagination......

Yeah, Aus and SA will be a bigger deal I'm sure. Looking forward to taking the boy to Eden Park for the first ODI vs Aus.

These two going along nicely but a couple of wickets will see them right back in the game given the lack of form of our middle-lower order.

Another hiding, good job. The cricinfo summaries have been interesting, cleary written with a Bangladesh bias with the expectation that they'd do a lot better than they have.
2-0 in tests vs Pakistan and now 3-0 vs Bangles in ODIs is a great start to the summer (yes, those games played in Aus don't count....).

On what possible basis would Ross 'would be best BC batsman of his era if KW didn't exist' Taylor be NOT picked???
