I thought both hosts were fluffybunnies when they kept probing Graham about Foran joining the dogs and how it would improve them.
The bloke clearly can't say anything coz nothing has been signed (and he may not even know), and did his best to dance around the issue, but they wouldn't let up.

As far as being shocked about coke use - good acting lads.

The inevitable happens - Warriors confirm that Kieran Foran is heading back to Sydney in 2018. Oh well, let's just go for it now.

Foran returning to Sydney at end of season
Kieran Foran today announced he will leave the Vodafone Warriors at the end of the 2017 season to be closer to his two children in Sydney.

“It has been an incredibly tough decision to make but it has reached the point where I had to make a call and I’ve done that today,” said the 26-year-old standoff.

“I love it so much here at this club and I have so many people to thank for helping me to get my life and my football career back on track.

“I really wanted to find a way of staying and spending more time here because it’s so good being around the boys and the people here. Every day I have a smile on my face when I come to training.

“But, in the end, it came down to my kids and what’s best for them. I need to be back in Sydney to be closer to them.

“Before I do there’s plenty to do here. I want to finish here as well as I possibly can. We can do something this year and I want to play my part in that.”

Vodafone Warriors managing director Jim Doyle said Foran’s decision is understandable.

“Of course, we would have liked Kieran to stay longer and we looked at ways of making that possible,” he said.

“I know how much he likes it here and how much he wanted to extend his time but his kids’ welfare is paramount. We support him in what he has decided to do and wish him all the best.

“For us, it has been great to see how far he has come getting his life back in order and now being in a position to be able to help the team on the field. He wants to finish the season strongly.”

Doyle said the club had options to consider now Foran’s future has been clarified.

“While we were hoping Kieran would stay we also knew there was a chance he would return to Sydney so we considered that in our planning,” he said.

Since making his Vodafone Warriors debut against Gold Coast on April 2, Foran has played in each of the Vodafone Warriors’ last five matches. His last outing against the Sydney Roosters on April 30 provided the 100th win in his 161 NRL appearances so far.

@Sneakdefreak Not a surprise really. A shame though. Management have to pull their fingers out and get someone in. I'm still upset that Scurrah never went after Luke Lewis when he wanted out of Cronulla!!!

        http://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/on-air/mike-hosking-breakfast/audio/david-kidwell-bromwich-proctor-will-have-to-work-extremely-hard-to-earn-back-trust/

Kidwell's gone a little bit soft of them now. "Clearly made a bad decision, "Out of character", "Very remorseful".

I reckon he should have taken another tack and hung them out to dry.

"Playing for the Kiwis is an honour". "They have completely failed to respect that". "Their efforts in the match lacked guts". "We can't afford to have such totally unprofessional, brainless and pea-hearted players representing New Zealand".

Notes from Mike Hesson - if people don't have the right attitude then you cut them.

Charlie Gubb is gone at the Warriors. Told to look elsewhere as the Warriors clear cap space for something.

That is good news Sneak - Gubb always looked keen but has been ineffective.

He can't be worth much of the cap could he?

Bah, maybe your boy Graham is coming ....

I thought Woods was actually good about it, Graham carried on like a pious dickhead. Players taking coke while out on the piss doesn't automatically mean there are deeper issues.

And yes Kent is a Kunt.

@Sneakdefreak After the way Graham carried on with the ref while captain last year (or was it the year before) and the way he generally carries on with the refs is he really the guy we want at the Warriors?

@Nepia see i thought Graham was okay. I liked his stance that as a player he doesn't give a shit unless it's performance enhancing. And that was in the face of the hosts badgering him to give the soundbite they wanted.

For some reason it grates on me when they keep using "the game" and "our game" as this huge, all encompassing descriptor. I don't really know why, but it shits me for some reason. You are not trying to protect "the game" you are trying to protect the NRL and all the money it generates for all of you.

If it wasn't for coke, and the NRL's ludicrous player trade rules, you piston wristed gibbons might actually have to work for a living, and find a genuine story.

@mariner4life It was the underlying issues stuff that he kept going on about that annoyed me. That's bollocks. Young men out partying take drugs ... there doesn't have to be something underlying to it.

Yeah the our game bullshit is just that. Those Fox shows (which I often find a good watch) don't give a shit about the sport, they only give a shit about NRL and origin.

Warriors sign Gold Coast forward Leivaha Pulu. Manu Vatuvei is exploring other options and looks likely to leave the club at the end of the season.

Cowboys with a rare win in Sydney without JT, easily taking care of the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Ben Barba looks like getting sacked by Toulon. Greenburgh throwing up roadblocks for an immediate NRL return, which i guess means the Roosters can't afford him...

Looks like Mannering is out with injury- Matulino in at lock. Manu might be back as well in favour of Maumalo.

Warriors have blown a 22 point lead and look totally out on their feet. Not fit enough perhaps.

A shocking 2nd half. No respect for the ball and some matador defence to go with it.

The Warriors (like the Kiwis) lose the tackle contest and have slow play the balls, have runners consistently hitting the ball behind the advantage line, and have the worst kicking game in the competition. Until they get those basics right they will always stuggle even when they have incrediblely talented players. How do you look lose a game when you are 22 points up? Worst of all they were gone after 60 minutes. For a professional sports team they were terrible. The worst performance ever.
