Nice win last night by the boys against a traditional big Bulldogs pack.

    Some thoughts:

    • Ken Maumalo was immense in this game. Side-stepping past players, smashing his way through, safe under the high ball....
    • ...Manu Vatuvei isn't returning to the team.
    • Simon Mannering was his usual self (60 tackles, 160m running) but it's not good when Bodene Thompson is invisible for large chunks of the game and Hoffman is getting smashed by the opposition.
    • Shame to see Isaac Luke leave with a shoulder injury but Nathaniel Roache was awesome when he came on. So quick out of dummy half that it halted the Bulldogs rushing up on defence.
    • Me and a mate at the game were impressed that Shaun Johnson was using a variety of kicks to pin the Dogs in their own end. Sadly some of his passes were shit (well one was).
    • James Gavet keeps getting more and more awesome with each game.
    • And he smashed that grub Josh Reynolds too. HA!
    • Really hope the Warriors showed James Graham around the facility this week. Would be a great signing for 2018.
    • Although my condolences go to Kata and his family, Fusitua and Ayshford are the better centres at this point of the season.
    • Because they can pass.
    • The video ref was terrible in this game and yet they kept going upstairs. Except for the last Bulldogs try which actually warranted a look upstairs.

@Sneakdefreak I didn't realise that Kata hadn't been dropped for this game, I thought that Kearney had finally seen sense with his outside backs. Hopefully, Nicoll-Kolstad's one drop of the ball isn't used as the convenient excuse whenever they want not include him in the starting line up.

@Nepia Wasn't dropped, his brother died so he's taken leave to return to Tonga.

Shit Melbourne are an impressive organisation. They appear to have unearthed another set of youngsters, and are beating the Roosters short-handed.

Have to favouritrs for the flag now

Warriors playing a day game in Perth against Manly. This will be nearly impossible.
Foran back but Hoffman out with a broken foot.

                        1-Tuivasa-Sheck, 2-Nicoll-Klokstad, 3-Ayshford, 4-Fusitua, 5-Maumalo, 6-Foran, 7-Johnson, 8-Lillyman, 9-Roache, 10-Mautlino, 11-Thompson, 15-Afoa, 13-Mannering, 14-Hingano, 16-Vete, 17-Gavet, 20-Sao

That's unfortunate timing... they'll probably win by 30 points while all but the die hard league fans are watching another channel.

The NRL are scheduling idiots. They have a 48 hours on a weekend to schedule the Warriors and they put the game directly up against the ABs v Lions. What the fudge is their thought process because they do this so often.

Sky can't be too happy having these games on at the exact same time.

Anyway, lucky you posted this otherwise I would have forgotten to record the game.

Haven't checked the score yet, but while I'm sulking I'm assuming that the Warriors won by 50, played their best league in years, and Shaun Johnson finally took a full game by the scruff of the neck.

                              ?

Three quick tries and then faded slowly as the game went on, Shaun Johnson tries to win it in the final minute but has no support.

Oh well, at least we can rely on the ABs victory
