One of the tweets says she shopped the story around in NZ and it was passed over. So she went to Oz next.
Anyway, if AS is distracted I have no issue with TJP starting and TKB on bench.

@Crucial Yep - although I think that's the line of discussion I think @Stargazer was hoping would be directed at that original thread.
For this thread - I think the main pertinent point is... Aaron Smith not likely to be playing this weekend, or quite possibly for a few weeks.

The fact it has taken this long to come out, via the Daily Mail is odd, not to mention Smith copped a lot of shit too, should he be taking legal action too....no because he took it all, was hung by social media jury, hell many thought he should not play for the abs again.
How is that different? Maybe if she had come out at the time, people wouldn't have been talking about an unknown woman, which is easier for people to trash talk someone who has no name, although social media doesn't care I guess, but at least then names are put to these people who trash talk.

Firstly, he shouldn't be in counselling or whatever, he should be in fucking night school. Long time since I've seen such shocking spelling.
Secondly, what the fuck is with this story? What possible gain could there be to bring this up so long after the fact? I have some sympathy for Smith, even though he did a truly shitty thing to his partner with this trailer trash, the subsequent consequences and public castigating were way, way out of proportion to the offence. And now, the poor partner has to deal with all this again. My full sympathy is with her, and also with NZR, who will no doubt be livid that this is making headlines again when they are building up to a big game.
Fuck Seven Sharp etc here who are breathing life into this. There is zero in the public interest factor.

Yeah you'd have to think if she is claiming for defamation, she'd of gone to NZR first wanting an out of court (and media) settlement or hush money or at least she would have had a solicitor make the approach.
It all stinks TBH.
This is the only thread I'll be discussing it on, not clicking any links, wont be watching Seven Sharp (not that I do anyway)

His terrible spelling might save him from the law.
Lying in a sawn afterdavidad would surely be perjury and wouldn't surprise me if inciting someone to lie in one would be an offence.

While the All Blacks today said they believe they dealt with the Aaron Smith "toilet tryst" last year and it was essentially business as usual for them and Smith, NZR feels they need to investigate the matter further. In a statement to Stuff, NZR said: "Based on information published today New Zealand Rugby believes that it needs to investigate the Aaron Smith matter further and has instructed an independent lawyer to do so. "Until those enquiries are complete we will not be making any further statements to the media. It is effectively an employment issue that requires investigation."
