@Nepia said in Re: Movie review thread...: Tenet: Christopher Nolan's new movie, which may be the most Christopher Nolany of all his films. I actually need to rewatch it to know whether I like it or not. It has a cracking opening sequence. This is one long trailer.

@Bovidae I'm glad I didn't see that trailer, I definitely think it's better going in knowing nothining. ::: I didn't even know what genre it was - it could have been a musical for all I knew, which woulld likely have caused me to walk out. :::

The Vampire Lovers. Hammer horror from 1970 - from a cinema era when men were real men , women were real women and lesbian vampires were real lesbian vampires. Surprising good (with lots of tasteful and well rounded nudity..). 4 extremely voluptuous Lucy Westenra's out of 5 Van Helsings'

@SynicBast said in Re: Movie review thread...: The Apartment and His Girl Friday. Damn I love screwball comedies and Shirley Maclaine was smoking hot in her younger days. I can pretty much watch most anything with Maclaine, Audrey Hepburn and Lauren Bacall Yeah, a lot of vintage films are seriously good and more than hold their own. There's an TV channel in the UK called Talking Pictures which showcases old, forgotten British films they have often restored with the British Film Institute. Often go thru their schedule and record/watch some great stuff.
