    Two kiwis; Earl Bamber and Dylan Brendon Hartley are 45mins away from winning Le Mans in the LMP1 Porsche after being dead last following an MGU change early in the race.

      @antipodean so that's why Hartley wasn't called up for Lions duty...

          Couldn't find a more appropriate thread. But SVG is killing it this season as he wins again

              @canefan

              the right thread haha

              i've been following MS this year

              the SVG thing is interesting
              he kills it around the corners, so obviously a great driver
              but the drafting races, now that's tricky, and he cant crack it
              but he is getting closer, i think he'll die happy if he can win just one of those races

              having watched F1 Indy Supercars and Nascar, I think drafting is the most difficult MS discipline
              wouldn't have said that last year
              drafting is like driving with out being able to see the corners, you have to "feel" them, very tricky
              it's no wonder they have so many pile ups!

              SVG made the comment that he had to gain the trust of the other drivers, cause the slightest mistake drafting can take out the whole field!

              like to see Supercars try a drafting race

                  It's certainly a different skill. Some think that F1 and pure speed is all that counts, I have disagreed with that for a while. Drafting (and how difficult SVG is finding it) show just how tricky some of the other disciplines in the sport are.

                  Pleased to see Scott Dixon get recognised, I've followed his whole career and he seems like a good bloke. Also amusing that Sir Scott thought his knighthood was a spam email.

                    Supercross about to get underway here in the States. Jett Lawrence - Aussie superstar out for the season with an injury so that leaves the door wide open. Should be entertaining.
