@Higgins he clearly said the Auckland player pulled the Counities player in. Blame Fekitoa.
Thanks for clearing that up. I often have the mute on, particularly when Ken Laban is involved. I can see what is happening and generally can understand the referees decisions without having to listen to a lot of the crap the commentators/expert comments persons etc spout forth.

@kev It should've been at least a penalty for the guy coming through the side of the ruck before that.

Nick White should have been fired at the end of last season. Auckland will pay the price.
@KiwiMurph Yep. He's no head coach.

The best team won on the day. I'd like to thank the ladies in the kitchen for the sausage rolls.
Auckland suck donkey dicks.
@Crucial We sure do after managing to lose to that useless irrelevant Counties side that no-one cares about. Oh well, another year of mediocrity coming up for us where we might just scrape into the top 4.

i wouldn't say the best team won. The team with the best scrum won. Congrats on winning like a team from the NH.

Strange finish to that one. Funny that the commentators were calling it a "classic old Mitre 10 Cup game" at the end. I thought it was a cripple fight to the end with some poor skill execution from both sides.
I thought Ioane was pretty good though.
Moala, a shell of the player that made the ABs.

It was clearly a ref's error. Henwood jumped into the ruck from the side without any Fekitoa's interference.@cgrant said in Counties Manukau v Auckland:

It was clearly a ref's error. Henwood jumped into the ruck from the side without any Fekitoa's interference.I wasn't able to watch the whole game and was in and out of it, but I wondered how the ref was judging "hands on" at the ruck. It's one of those weird ones that gets called differently as you go up the ranks. At Super and test level the player needs to lift the ball even when it is clear but at this level putting your hands on can be enough to make you fair game.
Anyway, Auckland didn't deserve to win because this game was at Pukekohe and there was a mudslide on the bank for the kids.
