New Zealand Schools' Barbarians coach Brad Mooar has named an unchanged starting line up for their second and final match of the 2017 campaign. They meet New Zealand Maori Under 18s in Palmerston North tomorrow.

The only change comes on the bench, with De La Salle College's TJ Ane coming into the squad to replace the injured Lemeki Namoa.

Coach Brad Mooar said the team has shown huge improvement while in camp and he wanted to let them continue to grow combinations.

"The squad went well on Thursday and it felt like the right thing to do to let them continue to establish and build their combinations.

"Areas of improvement from the first match are error rate and penalties. It's not abnormal for that type of thing when the team is getting to know each other so if we can reduce those mistakes it should lead to a smooth performance."

NZ Barbarians Schools v New Zealand Maori Under 18 - Sport & Rugby Institute, Palmerston North, kick off 2.00pm

That's a feisty Aussie Baabaas team!

Yellow card for Tupou Vaa’I (NZ) for a tip tackle.

Second penalty goal (Campbell Parata) for the Aussies: 7-6 NZ

Good team try scored by Etene Nanai! Attack started by McClutchie, via Tapsell?, to Toala, and Nanai goes over!

    Toala converts again: 14-6 NZ

They should be - some of those boys were in the victorious ACT side, who didn't get picked in the First XV.

And the giant scores a try! Right under the sticks, so easy conversion for Toala.

Half time: NZ Schools 28 - 6 Aussie Baabaas

That field is dusty as fuck. With all the money Knox has you think they could sort out their field - and if they cant don't award them the match.

@kiwimurph Only in patches. And its the greenest rugby field I've seen in Sydney this year 🙂

But yes, despite being the driest summer on record in Sydney, you'd think a fucking private school would have the cash to keep that shit in order and not get green paint out.

Again another great team try scored by Nanai! It started all with another very big lad, Tamaiti Williams. Geez what do they feed these kids?

    Converted by Toala: 35 - 6 NZ

It looks like most forwards have come of the NZ bench. Or not, I see the 17 and 19.
