I really hope the state of the field is not going to lead to injuries.

An equally good try to Ana Naimasi (Fijiana).

Fijiana definitely dealing with the conditions better than BF7s. Both field and weather are awful.

Fijiana much better than BF7s. Lots of handling errors (not surprising with that weather). Not really something to worry about, yet, esp. with so many senior players missing. Hopefully the conditions are better, tomorrow.

                  FT: Fijiana 17 - 10 BF7s

Same trend in the men's game.

Finally, NZ scores. Great, length-of-the-field try to Moses Leo.

The Fiji Barbarians team is definitely better than the Fiji Warriors.

AB7s being crushed in the wet.

NZ started with a team full of rookies; now the senior players have come on. Is it going to make a difference?

                                It might. Sam Dickson scores.

That was a hard watch all round. Blyde did not seem to touch the ball. Hotham was very good.
Some of the newer players for men went OK. Vai Carter and Solo all impressed me. But the other newer players seemed ill at ease in the conditions. Big work on tomorrow is more urgency in defence. However Blyde was amazing in defence for the women.

The conditions haven't improved much. A field more suitable for ducks than for rugby.
