AB's v Wales

Our defence was excellent. That last try was just a really good move.
But we need to look at why we have so little possession. Is tuipolotou actually playing??

I’m still struggling with our tactic of constantly giving the ball back to the opposition and relying on our D to force mistakes. If they don’t make mistakes we are starved of possession.

I much prefer the tactic of holding onto our possession with hard brutal offense and waiting on the inevitable opposition mistakes.

no proper replay of the try, but on first viewing i immediately thought forward for the pass from 10 to 14. Need better TV directors.

Looked ok. Just replayed on BeIN. Flat at worst.
Would be shitted if we got called back for that.

Whos playing well for the AB's then?
Naholo, SWhitelock, Cane ?Average impact for now:
Barrett, ASmith, DMac ?Reuben Thorne-esque (i.e. invisible)
Tuipolutu, LWhitelock, Ioane (maybe not 100%?) -

Squire? Haven’t heard his name called much. Sure he’s putting in tackles but so is everyone else. -
If the possession had been the other way round it'd be 50+ by now
-
@westcoastie Ioane setup first try.

Fair call, and I considered that, but maybe I'm just expecting more impact - he's been that good rest of the year.

Tuipolutu, LWhitelock, Ioane (maybe not 100%?)@westcoastie BB has made several try saving tackles. That's playing well in my book. Whitelock and Ioane have done shitloads of work. Not invisible. We don't seem to have someone playing at 6 though.
