<p>That is fucking big. If SpaceX can refurb their equipment and start getting the cost per kg of space transport into "reasonable" territory, there will be investors and other companies looking at the model as a capital investment.</p>

<p>Compare this to the traditional model which is cost plus, where the more time contractors spend helping NASA, the more they make. Competition will make things hoot along and leave these guys behind.</p>
