You clearly haven't seen many bogan names. While your suggestions do fall into the category of bogan names, you're missing a trick by using vowels like some kind of hoity-toity upper-class piston wristed gibbon.

Observe:

Knight = Knyht or Nyt

King = Kyng or Cyng

The wife, working at a Kids Hospital in Western Sydney as she does, has seen some fucking fantastic ones:

Bengerman (Benjamin)

Bylynda / B'lyndah (Belinda)

Anfernee (Anthony - really, this is the winner)

Three brothers named Stratocaster, Telecaster, Marshall (guitar player, obvs)

Blayde

Various versions of Jaden/Jayden/Jaiden/Jaydin/etc

and so on.

How long have you got if you want to hear silly english names? I must know at least 50 Connies, Winnies, Fanny's - I've not met the elusive Fanny Pong yet, but she's out there.

I've worked/met a Chewbacca, a Hercules, a Gidget, a coupe of Isis, but I think the worst was a Bonito Bait.

Oh I've seen/heard plenty...just illustrating how people can get around not calling their kid a banned name by making the spelling even stupider.

I recently came across a Feenicks

    I remember hearing on the radio police were looking for a missing kid, his name his was Rastaman .
Apparently there's a kid called Sativa in NZ. They might as well have called him The Accused or Unemployable .

    Sorry. Sativa. You've lost me. Please explain.

P.S. I don't think I've posted before but if I can find it I'll post up a list of names Mrs Boo came across in her job. Some MAY be ethnic... the rest ... well ...

Will look for that tonight.

I locked a kid up once called Wolverine. I was only mildly jealous that he got to be named after an X-Men character and I didn't. We used to come across kids with stupid names on an almost daily basis working in some of the rougher suburbs around Auckland. Not necessarily names like "Justice" or "Superintendent" or anything, but just names that were completely made up on the spot and had a weird combination of Z's, Y's and Q's.

There was a mobster a few years back who loved his Fords. He changed his name by deed-poll to "James MMM Ford". The MMM standing for Mighty Mongrel Mob.

That's not where the story ends. As they so often do, he had a bazillion kids and set about naming them all after Ford cars. I can't remember all of them, but the three most notable were Cortina, Fairlane and Customline. All with the last name Ford, obviously. The poor kids never had a chance.

    Given us Engineers use "Superintendent to the Contract" under AS2124 in Straya as opposed to "Engineer to the Contract" under NZS3910 in NZ I find tbis quite funny as I can never spell Superintendent properly.

This is is Engineering humour. It's slightly funnier than Accounting humour.
