The #DidAsAChildButDangerousNow tag is great... Absolutely mad to think of the things kids did in the 80s 90s compared to now...I feel sad...

@RLx31 my son's primary school has put blue painted rings near the bottom of all the trees and do not allow the children to climb higher than that.

I don't know the exact science, but I believe the part of the brain that assesses risk doesn't develop as well if you are not exposed to risky (within reason) situations growing up.

The coddling of kids today will come back to bite us IMO.

Silly woman, there’s no difference between the genders. Men have no advantages over women at sports .

Two things to come out of that. Confirmation on what we already knew - if men play traditional women's sports then they're better at them.

Secondly the reaction of Holt when the hypocrisy is pointed out:

"Oh those poor men getting no coverage, this is like welcome to our world. Seriously, welcome to our world," Holt replies.

It's at this point Stevenson retorted: "It's amazing when it's a female sport on the other side of the conversation, look at the reaction."

pretty sure this guy features in the stupid shit thread...and this could well go in there, but awesome that someone has reached out to him, and hopefully he is genuine about sorting his life (and this GC doesnt end up regretting his decision)

I remember when he came into the 1st 15 as this skinny as MF for our last couple of games, think he might have been 4th form IIRC...we had heard he was massively promising when he joined us.

    Always been a GC though.
